Enmarket Renews Commitment to the Savannah Sports and Running Community
The Savannah Sports Council signed a contract extension with Enmarket to extend their title sponsorships of the Savannah Bridge Run through December and the Savannah Hockey Classic through 2021.
Formed in 1991, the Enmarket Savannah River Bridge Run was the first community event owned and operated by the Savannah Sports Council. Scheduled for December 5, this year’s running marks the 30th anniversary if this marquee event and Enmarket’s third year as title sponsor.
Enmarket will also return as title sponsor of the 2021 Enmarket Savannah Hockey Classic. Next year marks the 23rd playing of this collegiate hockey event, voted most popular sporting event of the year by Connect Savannah. The 2021 Enmarket Savannah Hockey Classic is scheduled for January 15-16 at the Savannah Civic Center.
“The Savannah Sports Council is thrilled that Enmarket has renewed their support of the Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run and the Enmarket Savannah Hockey Classic,” says Rob Wells, director of the Savannah Sports Council. “Having their support during such an uncertain time is an inspiration and it truly shows their commitment to a healthier and more vibrant Savannah. We look forward to working closely with them to prepare for both events. Safety of the participants, volunteers, and staff is of the most importance and we have been working diligently to ensure both events operate in a safe and enjoyable manner.”
The Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run weekend kicks-off on Friday, December 4 with the Health & Wellness Expo at its new location, the Trustee’s Garden. The Enmarket Savannah Hockey Classic returns to the Savannah Civic Center, January 15-16 with the University of Georgia, Georgia Tech University, University of Florida, and Florida State University.
